Vidas Secas, designed by Ana Paula Filipi Putka, is a free eroded display font with broad, weighty letters and a severely distressed surface. Cracks, scratches, and irregular worn patches cut through the strokes, making the type resemble weathered print or peeling paint.
For music posters and album artwork, the battered forms can suggest noise, decay, or hard use. The same rough construction can support horror title cards, distressed apparel graphics, and packaging built around an aged industrial look.
