Viking Stencil, by Dennis Ludlow, is a free retro stencil display font with a hard-edged, poster-cut look. The caps feel broad and architectural, built from solid blocks and sharp diagonal breaks that give the letters a Nordic, industrial snap without turning fussy.
It suits branding for bars and coffee roasters, event posters, album covers, title cards, and packaging where a few large words need a bold carved rhythm. As a free font, it also works well for monograms and short headlines, because those deep stencil cuts and wedge-like angles keep the letters active even when the wording is brief.
