Author's note

Violent Alligator by Eric Wiryanata of Deathrockstar is a free pixel display font built from blunt, square-edged blocks. Its letters have uneven, stepped profiles and a dense low-resolution construction. The shapes feel deliberately raw.

It can turn a game title into part of an on-screen arcade interface rather than neutral lettering. The coarse geometry also suits album artwork and streetwear graphics with a rough digital theme. Event flyers and entertainment branding can use the same hard-edged forms to suggest underground games, electronic music, or hacked machinery.
