Author's note

Vipond Octic, a free techno stencil font by James Vipond from 2008, builds its caps from hard verticals, clipped corners, and sharply angled joins. Octagonal forms and deliberate breaks give the letters a stark, arcade-era machine character without extra ornament, while broad strokes keep every silhouette emphatic and poster-like.

This free font fits game logos, sci-fi posters, record sleeves, and event branding. Its compact geometry also suits short headlines and title cards, where a few large words can carry the clipped, modular rhythm at a generous scale.
