Author's note

Visual Establishment by Alberto Alberti and Luca Zamoc of Soolid comunicazione is a free distorted display font with tall, tightly packed letters and a crowded, restless silhouette. Pinched joins and wavering edges make the forms look hand-cut.

The lettering suits both underground music posters and offbeat food packaging, since its rough silhouette can suggest noise as readily as handmade goods. It also fits festival graphics and independent magazine covers, where the irregular shapes can become part of a collage or illustrated border.
