Vizant U by Nikola Kovanovic is a free Byzantine-style Cyrillic display font with the solemn, hand-drawn flavor of liturgical lettering. The letters mix narrow verticals, teardrop-topped strokes, and broad, sweeping curves that make the font feel ceremonial rather than strictly geometric.
It suits book covers, museum graphics, poster titles, cultural event branding, and historical game title cards where a free font needs an old-world, Eastern Christian mood without slipping into plain blackletter. The ornate rhythm of the letters also works well for monograms, short headlines, and chapter openings, because even a few characters carry that icon-like presence.
