Author's note

Vortices by Tibor Lantos of FSI FontShop International GmbH is a free geometric ornament font built around tightly curled spiral motifs. Each symbol combines broad, rounded hooks with squared edges, producing compact pinwheel forms that suggest carved tiles or wrought iron.

Pattern design is its strongest use, especially for borders, tiled backgrounds, packaging, and decorative book covers. The repeated curls suit designers drawn to retro interiors, architectural ornament, and the visual vocabulary of traditional craft.
