VTC Bad Vision, designed by Larry E. Yerkes for Vigilante Typeface Corporation, is a free distressed display font built from massive, tightly packed capitals with uneven edges and broken internal shapes. Deep cuts and rough gaps fracture the broad letterforms.
Posters are its strongest setting, especially for horror films and underground music events, since the dense silhouettes resemble battered signage or hastily cut industrial stencils rather than conventional printed type. That recurring slash-and-chip texture also suits game covers, streetwear merchandise, and extreme-sports branding, where the lettering can become part of the damage motif and connect directly with torn graphics or abrasive poster illustration.
