Author's note

VTC Sumi Slasher One Small Caps by Larry E. Yerkes is a free horror display font with spindly serifed capitals and ragged ink-like edges. Its narrow strokes swell into dark knots then taper into hooked points. The repeated thorn-like marks make every letter look scratched and overgrown.

Packaging for horror games or occult-themed products can use its distressed outlines as part of the surface design. It also suits music merchandise and event posters with a raw gothic edge. Against tangled vines, scratched textures, or macabre illustration, the hooked details let the lettering become part of the artwork rather than a separate caption.
