VTC Goblin Hand, from VTC Vigilante Typeface Corporation, is a free retro fantasy display font with a sly storybook mood. The caps mix broad curves with pinched, tapering strokes and little hooked flicks, giving the letters a hand-drawn, goblinish bounce that feels old-poster and slightly mischievous.
It fits best where you want a title to feel theatrical rather than neat - on book covers, game logos, Halloween flyers, pub signs, and zine mastheads. As a free font, it also works well for short headline lines, chapter openers, and monograms, since the curling details and offbeat rhythm do most of their work in a few large letters.
