Vtks Blank by Douglas Vitkauskas is a free distressed brush script with sweeping calligraphic forms and a deliberately worn surface. Long, elastic strokes loop far beyond the letters, and sharp changes in line weight give the writing a quick, gestural pace. Speckles, broken edges, and scattered gaps interrupt the ink throughout and leave the elegant shapes with a rough, photocopied finish.
Music posters are its strongest setting, especially for underground acts. It can also shape dramatic album covers, fashion branding, event flyers, and alternative magazine covers for independent arts coverage, all linked by the tension between ornate handwriting and scraped, imperfect texture.
