Vtks Espinhuda by Douglas Vitkauskas is a free scary display font built from distorted letterforms with thorny projections, torn edges, and wildly uneven strokes. Its jagged silhouette looks hacked and overgrown.
Horror is its clearest territory, especially on film posters, game graphics, and haunted attraction signage where the rough shapes suggest danger before anything is read. For music merchandise and dark fantasy publishing, the branchlike spikes can echo tangled roots, barbed vines, or scratchy creature artwork.
