Author's note

Vtks Hardness, a free grunge display font by Douglas Vitkauskas, pushes a rough ink-stamped look with heavy letters scraped by cracks, chips, and streaked vertical wear. The shapes stay big and blunt, but the repeated distressing gives the font a noisy, weathered rhythm that feels more printed on a battered wall than drawn on a clean page.

It fits poster work, album art, zine covers, title cards, event flyers, and gritty brand marks where a free font can carry texture without extra effects. Use it for short headlines and bold cover lines especially, because the broken surfaces do most of the talking even before you add imagery.
