Author's note

Warpspeed 9 by David Kerkhoff is a free eroded display font with battered, uneven letters and a forceful handmade silhouette. Dense strokes are broken by scratches, missing patches, and ragged edges that make the type look scraped or weathered.

Poster design is its clearest medium, especially for music events or entertainment. The damaged surface can also suit album covers, game graphics, and merchandise with an industrial direction. Its worn forms connect convincingly with punk, grunge, and dystopian themes.
