Author's note

Waste of Paint by Lars Manenschijn is a free distressed graffiti display font with letters scraped, redrawn, and partly broken apart. Its forms jump between dense strokes, hollow cuts, and scratchy outlines, so the texture changes without losing the hand-painted core. Sharp fragments and uneven edges give the lettering a noisy, urban bite.

As an illustrated title, it can become part of the artwork on punk posters or underground album covers rather than sitting above it as ordinary type. The same battered shapes suit skateboard merchandise and street-culture event graphics. For a clothing label or music imprint, the irregular marks could provide a raw identity on tags and packaging.
