Weekend Warrior by David Kerkhoff is a free eroded display font with massive, tightly packed letters and a harsh photocopied texture. Broad shapes are cut through by scratches, missing patches, and rough horizontal breaks, giving the lettering the battered force of a weathered gig poster, and uneven outer edges keep the widest forms from looking neatly stamped.
Concert posters are its clearest setting. Album packaging, band merchandise, and action-sports event graphics also benefit from that damaged surface, which connects readily with punk, metal, industrial music, skate culture, and motocross.
