Author's note
West England by Kevin Richey is a free pixel font built from square, sharply stepped strokes. Its broken joins and clipped corners recall early computer displays, with broad letterforms that look mechanical and deliberately low-resolution.
In digital graphics, it suits game interfaces and electronic music artwork because the segmented construction already resembles screen lettering. Tech-event posters can use the letters as interface elements, turning headings and labels into part of a retro computer display rather than ordinary text.
