Western Normal by James L. DeVries is a free western display font with the blunt swagger of old saloon lettering. Its wide, blocky forms and split, flared serifs give the letters a carved wood sign feel, while the rounded lowercase keeps it from turning stiff or theatrical.
It fits poster titles, whiskey or barbecue branding, event flyers, storefront graphics, and retro packaging where you want frontier flavor without a lot of ornament. As a free font, it also works well for short cover lines, title cards, and drop-in wordmarks, since those heavy shapes and notched serifs do most of the styling on their own.
