Author's note
What a Pity by Almowstalice is a free pixel display font with wiry, uneven outlines. Its letters bend through stepped curves and sharp little corners, giving the forms a doodled quality despite their grid construction. The loose silhouettes feel playful and slightly odd.
That mix suits indie game graphics and offbeat music artwork, two settings that welcome lettering with an intentionally homemade edge. Novelty merchandise is another good match. Its clearest role is lettering for humorous game graphics.
