Whisperings by Skyhaven is a free scary display font with towering, skeletal letters and a nervous hand-drawn edge. The strokes stay thin but change width unpredictably, and the cramped, wavering forms suggest writing scratched out in haste.
Its spindly shapes echo bare branches, scratches, and wiry horror illustration, making it apt for film posters and haunted-event graphics. It also suits uneasy album covers and horror game menus. In those settings, the lettering can become part of the artwork itself, threading through branch drawings or extending into scratch marks.
