Author's note

WHY by Billy Argel is a free eroded display font with tall, tightly packed capitals and a blunt industrial silhouette. Chips and pinholes roughen every broad stroke like battered ink or weathered paint.

Its grunge and industrial character suits concert posters, skate merchandise, and horror game graphics, where the damaged surface can echo distressed photography and scuffed textures. Album covers are its strongest use, since the dense capitals can turn a band name into something resembling a worn stamp pulled from an old road case.
