Author's note

Wild Africa, created by Dirt2.com, is a free hand-drawn outline display font with jagged, uneven letterforms and a deliberately raw finish. Its hollow strokes, angular cuts, and wavering edges resemble lettering carved or painted by hand, with each capital carrying slight irregularities.

Packaging is an especially good medium for its rough contours, particularly on adventure games, novelty snacks, or outdoor products. The same handmade edge also suits event posters, music merchandise, and children's publishing built around exploration or playful wilderness themes. It can become part of an illustrated scene, echoing scratched bark, cut paper, or loosely inked animal shapes rather than acting as neutral lettering.
