Author's note

Wild Scratch from Xerographer Fonts, dated 2013, is a free eroded display font with broad, weighty letters, blunt curves, and a forceful industrial silhouette. Fine, overlapping scratches cover nearly every stroke.

That web of pale cuts can echo distressed photography and tangled line patterns in music posters, skate merchandise, event branding, and action-game graphics. In editorial design, it is especially suited to magazine feature openers and cover lines about underground culture, extreme sports, or noise-heavy music, where the lettering can become part of the page's illustration rather than simply naming the story.
