WLM Nova Sans Grid by Wolf Lambert is a free digital display font with tall, open lettering traced in a crisp checkerboard line. Broad curves, clipped diagonals, and squared joins give the sparse forms an architectural, technical character, with especially generous widths across the capitals.
Retro computing and electronic instrumentation are the clearest themes for this design, making it useful for game graphics, technology posters, album artwork, and event branding because its open framework recalls control panels and schematic displays. The checker pattern can also become a circuit border or interface diagram.
