Writers original Font

Writers Original, by Johan Waldenstrom, is a free graffiti font with the quick, marker-painted snap of a wall tag. The letters lean into sharp angles and chunky strokes, with a loose hand that feels improvised rather than polished, giving the whole font a restless street-note energy.

It works naturally for skate zines, mixtape covers, poster headlines, club flyers, and title cards where a raw handwritten edge matters more than neatness. As a free font, it is especially suited to short words, artist names, and graphic callouts, because the jagged rhythm and uneven spacing do a lot of visual work on their own.
