Author's note

WW1 B by Listemageren is a free military dingbats font with a blunt First World War mood. The visible mark reads like a compact grenade or blast silhouette, cut into a dense, blocky shape that feels more like a stamped field emblem than a polished ornament.

That makes it a useful free font for poster accents, zines, museum flyers, game menus, title cards, and chapter openers that need a wartime graphic note without turning into full illustration. It works best in short, punchy placements where those heavy little symbols can act like badges or visual punctuation and keep the period feeling direct and spare.
