Author's note

XBAND Rough, from Catapult Entertainment, is a free eroded display font with the blunt, worn feel of stamped lettering that has taken a few knocks. The caps look heavy and condensed, but the real character is in the uneven edges, softened corners, and chipped shapes that make the letters feel scraped, pressed, and a little industrial.

It fits naturally in game branding, poster headlines, zine covers, title cards, and merchandise graphics where a clean display font would feel too controlled; as a free font, it also works well for quick logos and short cover lines. Because the roughness repeats across the letters instead of sitting on one gimmick, the font holds together best in brief words, marks, and other compact display settings.
