Author's note

Xéfora Bold by Juan Casco is a free medieval blackletter font with a severe cut-paper silhouette. Its tall, narrow letters combine broad vertical strokes with needle-fine joins, sharply broken curves, and pointed flourishes that recall formal manuscript lettering.

In publishing, it gives fantasy novel covers and historical magazine features an appropriately old-world title treatment, with enough angular detail to interact with engraved or woodcut-style illustration. The same medieval severity also suits metal album artwork, tavern branding, and role-playing game graphics rooted in dark medieval folklore, heraldry, and grim occult imagery.
