Author's note

Xéfora by Juan Casco is a free medieval blackletter font with a sharp, theatrical profile. Its tall letters mix broad diagonal strokes with hairline-thin joins and pointed, split endings. The uneven widths keep the lettering lively and prevent a rigid, typeset texture.

It can turn a title into part of a medieval emblem, especially for fantasy publishing and historical events. The same thorny silhouettes suit metal merchandise and game graphics, where the lettering can echo crests, blades, and carved ornament.
