XenoTribal BB by Nate Piekos of Blambot.com is a free tribal brush display font built from forceful, dry-brush-like strokes and angular forms. The letters have jagged edges, abrupt changes in width, and broken joins that recall hand-painted signs and calligraphy, with broad wedges alternating with narrow scratches so each form seems cut or painted by hand.
Alien cultures, martial-arts fantasy, and ritual imagery make convincing subjects for game titles, comic covers, film posters, and music merchandise because the lettering can suggest symbols from a fictional culture rather than ordinary type. It is aimed squarely at genre-minded entertainment and youth markets.
