Author's note

Yggdrasil Runic by David Kerkhoff is a free runic display font with stout, angular symbols and a deliberately battered surface. Branching strokes, hooked ends, and uneven cuts resemble marks carved quickly into weathered timber.

A Viking-themed game is its clearest setting, especially for maps, faction emblems, title screens, and carved-sign graphics. The tree-like forks and rough edges also suit folk-metal merchandise and mythology publishing, where the lettering can become part of the product identity rather than simply naming it.
