Author's note

Yikes!, by W. Allen Montgomery, is a free comic display font with a classic cartoon panic to it. The letters lean and lurch with sharp, rubbery curves, pointed joins, and uneven silhouettes that make the whole word feel blurted out rather than calmly set.

It fits poster headlines, zine covers, Halloween flyers, comic title cards, and playful packaging where a free font should sound loud, jumpy, and a little unruly. Because the shapes feel squeezed, stretched, and slightly off-balance, it also works well for short exclamations, cover lines, and logo-style wording that needs a quick hit of mischief.
