Author's note

Yorstat by Iconian Fonts is a free pseudo-Japanese display font with a bold, cut-paper silhouette and a rough, brush-drawn snap. The letters mix blocky weight with sharp notches and hooked strokes, giving the font a hybrid look that feels borrowed from manga logos, arcade imports, and late-90s techno graphics rather than from quiet calligraphy.

It works well for poster titles, game splash screens, zine covers, band logos, and short merch headlines where that jagged East-meets-digital attitude helps carry the message. As a free font, Yorstat suits brief, high-impact settings like title cards or monograms, because the heavy shapes and abrupt angles do most of the visual work on their own.
