Zdarx Hardcore, by Zdarx, is a free brush font with a raw street-hand feel. The caps look dragged on with a dry, battered brush, mixing lanky strokes, broken edges, and uneven pressure that keeps the letters nervous and a little unruly.
It suits poster work, mixtape and album art, club flyers, zine covers, and title cards where that scraped, late-night energy helps carry the message. As a free font, it also works for short headlines, monograms, and drop caps, because the letters have enough rough motion to hold a small amount of text on their own.
