Zenda Embossed, a free medieval Gothic font from PJL, turns blackletter into something more ornamental and buoyant. The letters pair sharp, calligraphic points with rounded inner curls and a carved, raised-looking outline that gives the font a lightly embossed, storybook feel rather than a severe old-script mood.
This is a free font for fantasy book jackets, game logos, pub signs, festival posters, and chapter openers where a little heraldic drama helps set the scene.
