Author's note

Zlatoust Ucs, Vladislav Dorosh's free Cyrillic ecclesiastical display font, draws on old Church Slavonic lettering with tall, narrow forms and small ornamental flourishes that feel lifted from liturgical headings. The letters rise like carved icons - spired, oval, and slightly ceremonial - so the overall mood is solemn rather than merely decorative.

It works naturally for book covers, museum graphics, Orthodox holiday posters, exhibition titles, and title cards where a historic Slavic voice matters more than neutrality. As a free font, it also suits monograms, drop caps, and short packaging names, because the elongated rhythm and crown-like accents carry plenty of atmosphere in just a few letters.
