Zooland by Iza W is a free animal dingbat font made from lively pen-and-ink cartoons. Birds, a frog, and a squat dog take exaggerated poses, drawn with uneven outlines, sparse hatching, and broad blank forms that resemble tiny comic illustrations.
Children's activity books are an especially convincing home for these humorous figures, turning page markers or section breaks into part of the story. They also suit zoo posters, classroom materials, and playful merchandise, but their strongest role is in publishing as memorable pictorial markers.
