Zothique Demo Font

Zothique, David F. Nalle's free decadent calligraphic display font, carries a fin-de-siecle gothic mood from the first stroke. The letters mix long, whiplash curves with sharp, blade-like angles, so the font feels theatrical and slightly haunted rather than formal.

It fits book jackets, poster titles, game logos, event flyers, and band artwork where a little dark-romantic drama helps set the tone. As a free font, it also works well for short cover lines, title cards, and monograms, because those curling descenders and high-contrast strokes give even a few letters a lot of atmosphere.
