Author's note

Absinthe FT by Franck Trebillac is a free curly decorative display font with an unmistakable Art Nouveau air. Its extremely tall, narrow letters alternate broad vertical strokes with hairline curves, creating a theatrical silhouette. Small inward curls and droplet-like hooks animate the letter tops and joins throughout.

Themes of cabaret, absinthe culture, and turn-of-the-century nightlife make it especially apt for bar menus, music posters, and period-inspired packaging. On a bottle label or venue sign, the repeated curls can become part of the brand's ornament rather than merely naming the product.
