Author's note

Albumme smooth font by Erwin Denissen is a free brush font. Its letterforms look like they were slashed onto the page with a loaded marker-lean, wiry strokes that twist and hook at the ends, yet still fall into a surprisingly readable rhythm. The texture feels inky and slightly raw, as if captured mid-sprint, giving headlines a restless, hand-scrawled energy that doesn’t feel generic or over-polished.

Using Albumme smooth, you can inject that loud, street-level personality into album covers, gig posters, skate or streetwear logos, YouTube thumbnails, event flyers, and zine titles. This free font shines when set big and bold, letting the irregular curves and sharp angles do the talking. For supporting text, pair it with a clean, condensed sans-serif and keep the brush style for the main words only.
