Author's note

Argor Brujsh Scaqh by JP Mallaroni is a free medieval gothic font with a raw, ink-brushed bite. The letters lean hard into blackletter tradition, but the jagged edges, hooked strokes, and unruly flourishes keep it closer to hand-made ritual lettering than polished revival work.

It fits posters, game logos, album covers, zine titles, and event graphics where you want a darker historical mood without going stiff. As a free font, it also works well for short headlines, chapter openers, and monogram-like initials, because the sweeping details and rough texture give even a few letters a charged, ceremonial presence.

I handwrote it, scanned it, then imported and formatted it in Font Creator, the software I use.

"Argor Brujsh Scaqh" means "Argor's Scribble Writing" in my constructed language Silarg.

Approximate pronunciation: "Argor brouth scao" ("sh" = "th" as in the English "thing").
