Author's note

Arvo Italic by Anton Koovit and Yassin Baggar is a free slab serif with a firm rightward slant. Its broad, sturdy serifs give the letters a grounded silhouette, set against noticeable changes in stroke width. The curves remain crisp and controlled.

Publishing is a natural home for this energetic italic, especially book covers, magazine features, and pull quotes with an assertive editorial voice. It also suits coffee packaging and literary event posters, where the angled letters can echo diagonal rules, cropped photography, or bold geometric illustration.
