Author's note

Astroph by Figuree Studio is a free retro display font with a chunky, soft-edged silhouette and a friendly 1970s pull. The letters lean on big rounded feet, puffed curves, and heavy teardrop-like joins, giving the whole alphabet a bouncy, poster-era rhythm instead of a strict geometric feel.

That makes this free font a natural pick for album sleeves, cafe branding, packaging, event posters, and magazine cover lines where you want a warm vintage note without going full novelty. It also works well for short title cards and drop-in headlines, because those broad, cushioned shapes keep the mood bold and playful in just a few letters.
