Author's note

Augmented font by Axel Pfaender is a free techno display typeface that looks like it’s been cut from a sheet of polished metal. Every letter is built from sharp, stepped angles and straight strokes, giving your words a fast, mechanical snap. The rhythm of its zigzag forms creates a sense of movement, as if the text is sliding across a digital grid.

This free font shines on sci-fi titles, game logos, EDM and techno flyers, motion graphics, UI headers, and bold apparel prints. Using Augmented at large sizes with plenty of spacing keeps those geometric cuts crisp and legible. For body copy, pair it with a clean sans serif to let Augmented handle the loud moments.
