Author's note

Bad Cargo font by MR. Fisk is a free distorted display typeface that looks like it’s been dragged across a rusted loading dock and run through a cheap photocopier. Jagged edges, broken contours, and inky smears give each letter a stressed, glitchy texture that feels raw and unstable, yet still readable at larger sizes. It’s the kind of messy, industrial energy you reach for when clean typography feels too safe.

Using Bad Cargo, you can push headlines for horror posters, punk or metal album art, dystopian game titles, experimental zines, streetwear graphics, and underground event flyers. This free font shines when it’s big, bold, and given room to breathe; pair it with a neutral sans serif for body text so its chaotic rhythm stays in the spotlight.
