Author's note

Barrio 30 font by StereoType is a free distorted display font that looks like thick stencil letters blasted with a cloud of spray paint. The heavy, rounded shapes stay legible, while the fuzzy overspray and rough edges give each word a raw, alley-wall energy. It feels noisy, gritty, and immediate-like it was made for posters you notice from half a block away.

Using Barrio 30, your titles hit with a bold, urban punch that suits gig posters, streetwear graphics, zines, extreme-sports branding, skate or graffiti-themed flyers, and underground event promos. This free font works best at big sizes where the grainy texture can breathe; pair it with a clean geometric sans serif for body copy to let the distressed letters stay the loudest voice on the page.
