Author's note

Basketcase Roman font by B. Haber / Dixie's Delights is a free distorted display typeface that looks like it was dragged from a dripping ink bottle and left to mutate. The letters bulge, melt, and splatter, with irregular edges that feel more like torn paper than clean vectors. There’s a wild, unstable rhythm to the Basketcase family that instantly throws a design off-center—in the best, most chaotic way.

Using Basketcase Roman font, you can push horror posters, underground gig flyers, punk album covers, zines, Halloween event branding, game titles, and edgy YouTube thumbnails into full-on creep mode. This free font shouts at large sizes, so let it own your main headline and anchor it with a plain, compact sans serif underneath to keep everything legible.
