Bauhaus Olga 1933 Black Regular Font

Bauhaus Olga 1933 Black, by Damien Gosset, is a free pixel blackletter display font with a blunt, screen-built take on early modernist gothic lettering. The letters feel heavy and compact, with squared curves, stepped corners, and a low-resolution rhythm that makes the old blackletter idea look more like signage from a rough digital archive than a calligraphic revival.

It fits poster headlines, record sleeves, zine covers, title cards, and branded merch where a free font can carry both retro technology and historic mood at once. Because the forms are dense and sharply modular, it works best in short phrases, monograms, and strong cover lines where that chunky medieval-meets-bitmap tension has room to do the talking.
