Black Rotting Font

Black Rotting by Putracetol Studio is a free modern gothic display font with a feral, black-metal bite. The letters look ripped and overgrown with thorns, turning rough handwritten forms into a chaotic silhouette that feels hostile, ritualistic, and a little diseased.

It fits music posters, horror branding, zine covers, game title cards, and merch graphics where the lettering needs to feel like part of the atmosphere, not just a label. As a free font, it also works for short cover lines, band marks, and monogram-like initials, because the jagged edges and tangled spikes give even a few letters a charged, unstable presence.
