Author's note

Bleeding Trough font is a free brush horror typeface that looks like it’s been hacked onto the page with a dripping marker. The letters lunge upward with jagged spikes and smeared edges, giving every word a raw, slashed-through energy. Uneven strokes and splattered shapes make text feel urgent and a little unhinged, as if it’s been scrawled across a wall in the middle of the night.

Using Bleeding Trough, your titles instantly feel ready for haunted houses, slasher movie posters, metal or hardcore band logos, creepy book covers, escape room branding, and Halloween event flyers. This free font thrives at large sizes where its rough texture and wild rhythm can breathe; pair it with a clean, narrow sans serif for body text to keep layouts readable while the brush lettering does the screaming.
